CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

The CVET targets the following:
• Trainers in Vocational Training Institutes, Brigades, Technical Colleges and other establishments
• Training officers / trainers in government training departments, private and parastatal organisations
• Any other person charged with the responsibility of imparting knowledge and skills to others.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be admitted to the CVET programme:
• Candidates must have completed a Diploma / Degree in any Vocational area OR

• Candidates must possess a Certificate in any Vocational Field and at least 3 years teaching and training experience OR

• Candidates who do not meet the above requirements must possess proven competence in any vocational area through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Recognition of Current Competence (RCC) assessment system as approved by BA ISAGO regulations.

PROGRAMME DURATION

The programme is divided into twelve (12) modules which are aligned to the course unit standards to be studied over a one – year period.
